Terrance C. Smith, graduated in 1987 from Pine Forest Sr. High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina where he played football, wrestling and track.Terrance played varsity football 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. He received all-conference honors his junior and senior year in football. In wrestling he was named all-conference 11th, and 12th grade and place in the state tournament both years. HIs 12th grade year, he was all-conference in track throwing the Disc and shot put. After graduating high school, Terrance attended Fayetteville State University on a Football scholarship. Recruited by Coach Robert Pulliam.

Upon arriving for his freshman year summer work outs.Terrance caught the eye of defense coordinator Dr. Frank Merchant with his hard work ethic and physical play. Where he earned a spot on the second team defense unit. He came back his sophomore year determined to start, but the competition was intense. He earned a spot on the second team defense. Where he also played kick-off team, receiving team, punt team, extra point team. Terrance arrived his junior year determined! He earned 1989 CIAA Defensive Player of the Year, 1989 All CIAA Defensive Team. His senior year he was a team captain. He earned 1990 CIAA Defensive Player of the Year, 1990 All CIAA Defensive Team, 1990 MVP 4th Annual Port City Classic, 1990 FSU Most Outstanding Defense, 1990 Kodak All - American Football Team Division 1 and 1991 FSU Most Outstanding Defense.

Terrance majored in physical education. After leaving Fayetteville State he worked with Cumberland County for 4 years. Then transferred to the State of North Carolina for 4 years. He decided to become self employed and stared a trucking company. Terrance and his wife have been in business for 24 years.

Terrance currently resides in Knightdale, North Carolina, with his beautiful wife, Crystal. They were blessed with a son, Omar. He graduated with a Accountant degree and is a Accountant in Raleigh North Carolina.
