Fayetteville State University Athletics

Marion Crowe, 80, was originally from Springfield, Ohio. He retired from the Army after a 24-year career. Crowe graduated from FSU in 1984. He was hired as the sports information director in 1993 and served the university for 14 years. Crowe earned the CIAA Sports Information Director of the Year Award on two occasions (1998, 2001). 

Crowe provided guidance and tutelage to several in athletic administration and sports information. He leaves behind a strong legacy.
