Laniyah Bethea, a dedicated outfielder for the softball team, proudly wears jersey number 12. Born on September 14, in Sanford, NC, she stands at 5'6" and bats and throws right-handed. A senior at Western Harnett High School, Laniyah is majoring in Sports and Fitness Management.
Laniyah's favorite color is green, a unique detail that many might not know about her. She aspires to become a pediatric respiratory therapist, inspired by her resilient grandpa, who has always been a source of strength and wisdom for her. Watching him overcome life's toughest challenges has deeply influenced her career goals.
Family is incredibly important to Laniyah. She comes from a close-knit family that has always supported her ambitions and dreams. Her parents have been her biggest cheerleaders, attending every game and encouraging her to pursue her passion for softball and her academic goals.
