Tamarah Renee Lowery, a junior at Fayetteville State, is a dedicated softball player who excels as a pitcher, proudly wearing jersey number 17. Standing at 5'3" and weighing 210 lbs, Tamarah bats and throws left-handed. She hails from Red Springs and graduated from Hoke High School before attending Fayetteville Technical Community College. Currently majoring in Sports and Fitness Management, Tamarah chose this field as it closely aligns with her interests in sports medicine and physical therapy.
Beyond her athletic and academic pursuits, Tamarah has a passion for singing and painting. Her greatest inspiration is her mom, who has always pushed her to do better and has been a constant source of support. One of Tamarah's favorite sports memories is from high school when she pitched in a game where her team beat their biggest rivals for the first time.
At Fayetteville State, Tamarah's best experience has been meeting her new teammates. On game days, she prepares by listening to music on the way to the game until she gets off the bus or out of the car. Tamarah's dedication, unique talents, and aspirations make her a standout both on and off the field.

At Fayetteville Technical Community College, she was recognized for her outstanding performance as a pitcher, earning several accolades and honors. Her ability to maintain composure under pressure and deliver crucial plays has made her a key player for her team.
