ZyKayah Thomas is a dynamic freshman softball player at FSU, majoring in Mathematics. Standing at 5'0", she excels as a shortstop and second baseman, proudly wearing jersey number 2. ZyKayah hails from Columbia, South Carolina, where she attended A.C. Flora High School. She bats and throws right-handed.
Off the field, ZyKayah is known for her unique heritage, being part Indian. Her career goal is to become a civil engineer and achieve financial success. She draws inspiration from her hardworking parents, who have always persevered through tough times.
ZyKayah's best experience at FSU has been meeting new people, hanging out with friends, and playing softball. She chose her major because it aligns with her career aspirations in civil engineering. On game days, she prepares by listening to music and praying. One of her favorite sports memories is winning the region championships during her senior year of high school.
In her free time, ZyKayah enjoys exploring new places, trying out different cuisines, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She is also passionate about giving back to her community and often volunteers at local events. ZyKayah's positive attitude and dedication make her a valuable asset to her team and a role model for her peers.
