2025-26 Men's Basketball Returning Roster
Biography
Kenneth Brayboy, a 6’6” junior forward from Ellenwood, Georgia, joins Fayetteville State University after a strong season at Miami Dade College. In 15 games with 9 starts, Brayboy averaged 8.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 16.9 minutes per game. He shot 45.2% from the field (47-of-104), 20.5% from three-point range (9-of-44), and 65.1% from the free-throw line (28-of-43), totaling 131 points on the season. Known for his physicality, energy, and team-first mentality, he provided a consistent interior presence and showed growth as a scorer and rebounder.
Prior to Miami Dade, Brayboy played at Clayton State University during the 2023–24 season, appearing in 18 games and posting a career-high seven points and five rebounds against Georgia College. A graduate of Eagle’s Landing High School, he helped lead his team to a GHSA 5A State Championship, two state runner-up finishes, and three region titles, earning Second Team All-Region honors as a senior. He also competed in track & field and played AAU basketball for AOT under Coach Elliot Montgomery.
Off the court, Brayboy is majoring in Cyber Security and is known for his hidden talent—playing the violin. His favorite pastimes include fishing and playing video games. Inspired by his mother, who he says “never made a dream of mine feel too big,” Brayboy chose Fayetteville State because of the belief shown in him by Coach Devin Hoehn and Coach G, and the university’s supportive environment for both academic and athletic growth.
With his toughness, motor, and upside, he is expected to be a key contributor as the Broncos enter a new era.
