Elizabeth City, NC -- On Tuesday, the Fayetteville State Broncos lost to the Bluefield State Big Blues (8-15 overall, 3-1 CIAA) by a final score of 4-2, despite a good performance by Olivia Jackson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Kevana Deberry (2-5) started the game for Fayetteville State (4-13 overall, 0-3 CIAA) and took the loss.
At the plate, Olivia Jackson led the Broncos, driving in two runs with a single in the seventh inning that scored Laniyah Bethea and Camryn Alexander.
