Tamarah Lowery was named to the 2026 CIAA All-Tournament Team following her strong performances during the 2026 CIAA Softball Championship, announced by the conference.
A sports and fitness management major from Red Springs, N.C., Lowery delivered back-to-back complete-game efforts in the tournament, anchoring the Broncos' pitching staff against two of the league's top offenses. She threw a combined 13.2 innings, striking out 19 batters while posting a 3.60 earned run average during the championship run.
Lowery opened the tournament with a complete-game outing against Virginia Union, working all seven innings and recording nine strikeouts. She followed that performance with another gritty start against Bowie State, allowing just three earned runs in 6.2 innings while fanning 10 hitters and issuing only one walk.
Her ability to miss bats proved pivotal throughout the tournament, as she averaged nearly 10 strikeouts per game while limiting extra-base damage. Across the two appearances, Lowery allowed just one home run and consistently worked out of pressure situations, facing a total of 62 batters over two days.
Lowery's All-Tournament recognition caps an accomplished senior season and collegiate career, in which she has served as a dependable presence in the circle and a leader for the Broncos. Her performance at the CIAA Championship underscored both her durability and competitiveness on the conference's biggest stage.
