MOUNT OLIVE, NC -- Fayetteville State (4-9 overall) ran into a buzzsaw in the circle Thursday as junior Callie Thornton tossed a no-hitter for Mount Olive (19-7 overall), leading the Trojans over the Broncos 11-0.
Freshman Kevana Deberry (2-3) started and took the loss in the circle for Fayetteville State. First baseman Angelica Locklear collected four putouts while Isabella Rumbold and Camryn Alexander had two.
Sophomore Treja Paterson led the way offensively for the Broncos, going 0-for-1 in the ballgame with a walk.

Fayetteville State didn't managed to advance a runner past first base in the ballgame.
