The Enterprise Rent-A-Car Leadership Development Institute is an expansion of a new partnership with Fayetteville State University Athletics that prepares student-athletes for their career after graduation. The pilot program is a multi-session workshop hosted by Enterprise Holdings in the Felton J. Capel Arena over several weeks.

"We are so excited to be here at Fayetteville State," said Enterprise Rent-a-Car Talent Acquisition Manager Hannah Fitzgerald. "We have four fantastic student-athletes, and we are excited to take them through a series of workshops."

"We envision this to get bigger and add more student-athletes and students," added Christopher Moss, the Fayetteville Area Manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. "We hopefully envision this to go across to other HBCUs here in North Carolina. There is more to come with this!"

Jacob Crutchfield and Gregory Joyner from the men's basketball program along with
Keyshawn James and
Kenneth Merritt from football committed to participate in workshops covering resume building, interview skills, public speaking, presentation skills, etiquette, and dinner etiquette.

"The significance of being in this program is to make sure we are successful going into our careers after college," said
Jacob Crutchfield. "I believe that this is a great experience to be able to have them [Hannah Fitzgerald and Christopher Moss] teach us these things that other won't get. It gives us a head start going into our career."
