FAYETTEVILLE, NC --Sophomore Hannah Mills was dealing on Tuesday, tossing a two-hit shutout to lead the Fayetteville State Broncos over the Mid-Atlantic Christian Mustangs 8-0.
Mills (4-1) went the distance for Fayetteville State (6-14), giving up two hits, walking one and striking out six.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Broncos took the lead for good in the second, scoring for the first time in the inning. Junior Morgan Jackson came across to score the lone run of the inning for Fayetteville State and get them on the board.
The Broncos then tacked on runs in the third, fourth, and sixth innings, with their biggest output coming in the fourth when they scored three times.
