DUNCAN, SC --The Fayetteville State Broncos struggled on Sunday, falling to the Kentucky State Thorobreds by final score of 13-2.
Offensively, the Broncos were paced by Camryn Alexander, who went 1-for-1 on the day with a double, a walk and an RBI. Aniya Caldwell furnished a standout day at the plate as well, going 1-for-2 with an RBI.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 12-0, the Broncos first put runs on the board in the fourth inning. Fayetteville State pushed across two runs in the frame, the big blow coming on an RBI double from Alexander. The Broncos were unable to get any closer, as Kentucky State added one run to their tally on the way to a 13-2 final.
