PEMBROKE, NC - UNC Pembroke picked up a tennis victory over Fayetteville State in the season-opener for the Lady Broncos on Tuesday.

UNC Pembroke prevailed 9-0 in the match.

Fayetteville State's Brittany Williams was the Lady Broncos' top player on the day, taking two games in her second-seeded singles match from Mia Winterbottom. Williams then teamed with Varia Love in the top-seeded doubles match. The duo fell 8-3 to Jenna McGary and Hannah Herlocker.
