Final Stats

CHARLOTTE - Johnson C. Smith swept Fayetteville State, 9-0, in tennis action on Tuesday.

The Broncos' Danielle Boone and Schanelle Ebanks provided the stiffest test to JCSU in doubles, winning three games before dropping the match 8-3 to Camille Allen and Tyra Breaux.

In singles play, FSU's Shontana Donegan, Kristy Mitchell, Tiane Ellis, Ebanks and Jensine McMillan won games but dropped their matches.

Donegan fell 6-0, 6-1 to Samantha Barnes, Amber Mitchell 6-0, 6-0 to Joe Hargett, Kristy Mitchell 6-0, 6-1 to Rolanda Sue, Ellis 6-1, 6-1 to Margaret Jones , Ebanks 6-0, 6-1 to Allen and McMillan 6-1, 6-0 to Breaux.

FSU (0-3, 0-2 CIAA) will compete at the CIAA East/West Round-Up in Petersburg, Va. beginning on Friday.
