The Fayetteville State University Lady Broncos' Tennis Team earned their first win of the 2007 season as they were victorious against the Saint Andrews College Knights, 7-2 in non-conference tennis action. Fayetteville State earned five singles points as the Lady Broncos dominated at first, second, third, fifth and sixth singles sets. The victory was secured by winning at the first and second doubles.
Ines Nieves continued her singles winning streak at three with the easy dismissal of Morgan Worthington in her singles set 6-2, 6-1. The Knights were able to avoid the shutout by winning the third doubles and fourth singles sets. The victory improves FSU to 1-2 for the season while St. Andrews remains winless at 0-2.
