Tiara Stueck joins the Fayetteville State Broncos as a transfer from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, bringing size, power, and versatility to the lineup. Standing at 5’10” and wearing jersey number 99, the Lumberton, North Carolina native plays both first base and catcher, giving the Broncos a strong defensive option and a capable bat.
Before her collegiate career, Stueck dominated at Lumberton High School, earning Conference Player of the Year, Robeson County Player of the Year, and District 7 Player of the Year honors in 2023. She set school records for home runs and RBIs in a single season, was a three-time First Team All-Conference selection, and a two-time All-State honoree, all while excelling academically as a scholar-athlete.
At UNC Pembroke, Stueck appeared in 22 games during the 2025 season, posting a .231 batting average with 6 hits, including a double, and driving in 7 runs. She also added 2 stolen bases, showcasing her ability to contribute on the base paths. Her experience at the NCAA Division II level adds depth and leadership to the Broncos roster.
Off the field, Stueck is pursuing a degree in Physical Health and Education, with plans to become a high school PE teacher and softball coach, while also working toward a basic law enforcement degree. Her passion for the game and desire to mentor young athletes reflect her commitment to giving back to the sport that has shaped her life. She credits her father, grandfather, and brother as her greatest inspirations, saying they pushed her to be the best in everything she does.
Away from softball, Tiara has a unique side—she owns 10 dogs, a fun fact that surprises many. On game days, she prepares by listening to gospel music and putting her trust in God, a routine that keeps her grounded and focused. Her favorite sports memory dates back to high school, when she hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 8th inning to win a game—a moment that perfectly captures her clutch mentality.
With her size, power, and experience, Tiara Stueck is poised to make an immediate impact for the Broncos as she begins her journey in the CIAA.
