Fayetteville State University proudly announces that
Jacqueline Evans, Assistant Coach and Offensive Analyst for Broncos Football, has been selected as one of the NFL's Select 25 Teammates for the prestigious Super Bowl Teammate Program, earning experience with the NFL Family during Super Bowl LX.
"Jacqueline is one of the hardest‑working young coaches I've ever been around," said Head Football Coach
Richard Hayes, Jr. "This opportunity is a testament to her dedication, her professionalism, and her passion for the game. We are extremely proud of her, and we know she will represent Fayetteville State University with excellence during Super Bowl Week and beyond."
"Jacqueline's achievement is a powerful example of what it means to be a Bronco," said FSU Athletics Director
Anthony Bennett. "Her selection to the Super Bowl Teammate Program speaks volumes about her character, her commitment to the profession, and the high standards she brings to our football program every day. We are incredibly proud of her, and we look forward to watching her continue to grow as she pursues her goal of coaching in the NFL."
The NFL reached out directly to Evans with the news, inviting her to travel and work at Super Bowl LX while engaging in a full week of high‑level professional development. During Super Bowl Week, Evans will participate in curated panel discussions, industry spotlights, social and networking functions, behind‑the‑scenes operations, and exclusive NFL‑hosted events — all while representing both the National Football League and Fayetteville State University.
A 2025 graduate of FSU, Evans has been an integral member of the Broncos football staff. She originally joined the program as a Football Intern, later contributed to Game Day Operations, and rose into a full coaching role due to her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to player development.
A native of Fair Bluff, N.C., Evans also brings experience from her time as an Assistant Coach at West Columbus High School, where she worked with wide receivers, quarterbacks, defensive backs, and safeties, while assisting in practice planning, play calling, and film analysis.
Evans holds multiple certifications, is pursuing licensure in Health and Physical Education and is set to begin her Master's in Athletic Coaching in 2026.
With her selection to the Super Bowl Teammate Program, Evans moves closer to her ultimate career goal — to work and coach in the National Football League.
Evans' NFL recognition further elevates Fayetteville State's reputation for producing emerging leaders in the coaching and sports administration fields.
