Fayetteville State University proudly welcomes Jacqueline Evans to its football coaching staff, where she joins as an Assistant Coach and Offensive Analyst. A versatile and driven professional, Evans brings a wealth of experience in both coaching and football operations, with a strong foundation in player development, film analysis, and team logistics.
Before joining the Broncos, Evans made a significant impact at West Columbus High School as an Assistant Coach, where she worked across multiple roles including Quality Control, Wide Receivers Coach, and Quarterbacks, Defensive Backs/Safeties Coach. Her leadership extended to both varsity and junior varsity programs, where she was instrumental in practice planning, play calling, and sideline management.
Evans began her journey with Fayetteville State as a Football Intern and later contributed to Game Day Operations, showcasing her commitment to every facet of the program—from setting up the field to assisting with recruiting and nutrition. Her attention to detail and organizational skills quickly earned her a spot on the coaching staff.
A native of Fair Bluff, NC, Evans holds an Associate’s in Art from Southeastern Community College and completed her Bachelor of Science in Sport and Fitness Management at Fayetteville State University, where she maintains a 4.0 GPA. She is also pursuing Licensure in Health and Physical Education and will begin her Master’s in Athletic Coaching in 2026.
Evans holds certifications in CPR and First Aid, as well as multiple credentials from the National Federation of State High School Associations, including Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Fundamentals of Coaching.
Known for her work ethic, adaptability, and passion for the game, Jacqueline Evans is a valuable addition to the Fayetteville State football family and a rising leader in the coaching profession.
