Fayetteville State University Drops to Fourth in Men's NCAA Atlantic Region Rankings
Fayetteville, N.C. (March 5, 2025) – The Fayetteville State University men's basketball program has dropped to fourth place in the latest NCAA Atlantic Region Rankings, following their performance in the CIAA Basketball Tournament. The updated rankings, released through games played on March 2, 2025, reflect the Broncos' impressive season record of 20-8 overall. Despite the drop from third place last week, the Broncos remain a formidable contender in the region.
Fayetteville State's position in the rankings comes on the heels of a series of hard-fought victories and a loss to Bluefield State (18-11), who now ranks eight in the region.
