Winston-Salem, NC -- Fayetteville State University clinched their fifth consecutive Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship, showcasing their dominance in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). The Broncos secured a total of 150 points while runner-up Winston-Salem State finished with 135. Claflin finished third with 90.
Senior
Ronee Tudor led the charge by winning the 60 meters finals with a time of 7.58 seconds, earning 10 points for the team. Sophomore
Ziyah Etchison also contributed significantly, finishing fifth in the same event with a time of 7.70 seconds.

In the 200 meters finals, sophomore
Janya Moore secured first place with a time of 24.87 seconds, adding another 10 points to Fayetteville State's tally. Moore's outstanding performance throughout the season earned her the title of
CIAA Female Runner of the Year. The team continued to excel in the 400 meters, where Moore finished second with a time of 56.63 seconds.
The Broncos' depth was evident in the distance medley relay, where they took first place with a time of 13:02.15. Junior
Domanique Knowles also shone in the field events, tying for second in the triple jump with a mark of 11.78 meters and being named the
Championship Female Field Athlete MVP.
Head Coach
Inez Turner was honored as the
Female Coach of the Year for the fifth time, reflecting her exceptional leadership. This comprehensive performance across multiple events ensured Fayetteville State's continued reign as conference champions.
