Charlotte, NC - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) named Fayetteville State volleyball players,
Chiara Vittoni and
Jasmine Culp, as the week #5 CIAA Volleyball Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively.
Chiara Vittoni, a senior accounting major from Brescia, Italy, continues to be a driving force for Fayetteville State Volleyball, delivering a standout week of performances that helped the Broncos secure four straight wins. Over the course of matches against Livingstone, Bowie State, Lincoln (PA), and Virginia Union, Vittoni's game-high performance came against Bowie State, where she recorded 15 kills, contributing 18.0 total points. Across the week, she totaled 42 kills, 14 digs, and 48.0 points.
Jasmine Culp, a senior accounting major from Clayton, NC, anchored Fayetteville State's back row with poise and precision during a dominant four-match stretch. Her defensive consistency and smart serve receive play were crucial in helping the Broncos go undefeated. Culp's standout performance came against Livingstone, where she recorded a season-high 26 digs. Over the week, she totaled 56 digs and 9 service aces.
