Fayetteville State University Athletics

Jasmine Culp, a 5’3" libero from Clayton, NC, is a standout volleyball player currently attending Fayetteville State University. Born on February 5th, Jasmine graduated from Corinth Holders High School in 2022, where she set the record for most digs and was named to the Prep Volleyball Class of 2023 Watch List. She began her collegiate career at Shaw University, earning accolades such as CIAA Rookie of the Year and a spot on the CIAA All-Rookie Team. Now a junior majoring in Accounting, Jasmine plans to pursue a Master’s degree and CPA certification, with aspirations of specializing in tax or corporate law. Off the court, she enjoys indoor activities like fishing, bike riding, and running. Jasmine credits her mother, Paulette, as her greatest influence, admiring her strength and support throughout her academic and athletic journey. Her favorite sports memory is winning the 2023 CIAA Championship and contributing to Shaw’s first NCAA tournament victory. Jasmine chose Fayetteville State University for its beautiful campus, academic reputation, and the supportive environment fostered by Coach Hunt.
