Biography
Jasmine Culp is a senior libero for the Fayetteville State University women’s volleyball team, known for her defensive tenacity, quick reflexes, and leadership on the court. A native of Clayton, North Carolina, Culp made her mark at Corinth Holders High School by setting the school record for most digs and earning a spot on the Prep Volleyball Class of 2023 Watch List.
Since joining FSU, she has earned Rookie of the Year honors in 2023 and was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2024, showcasing her consistency and impact in the backcourt. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond athletics—she is majoring in Accounting and plans to pursue a Master’s degree and CPA certification, with a focus on sports finance.
Outside of volleyball, Culp enjoys fishing and swimming, and she’s a talented swimmer. She credits her parents, Paulette and Derrick, as the most influential people in her life for their unwavering support and strong work ethic. She chose Fayetteville State for its welcoming campus, outstanding facilities, and dedicated coaching staff—an environment where she continues to thrive both academically and athletically.
