About the Broncos
The Broncos are currently 2-6 overall in non-conference play. They captured their first two wins of the season at the CIAA/SIAC Challenge this past weekend on Feb. 17 vs Clark Atlanta with a score of 12-0 and Tuskegee with a score of 4-0.
Hannah Mills put up a four-hit shutout to lead FSU past Tuskegee. At the plate, the Broncos were paced by
Camryn Alexander, who went 2-for-3 on the day with a double and two RBI.
Xztashya Porter furnished a noteworthy performance as well, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI.
Sydney Jackson also contributed for Fayetteville State, putting together one hit in two trips to the plate while adding an RBI.
About the Knights
The Knights are currently 0-8 in non-conference play.
In their most recent doubleheader vs West Virginia University Institute of Technology, St. Andrews fell short in game one (2-6) and game two (4-6).
In game two, senior pitcher Charlee Mullins led the team with two runs.
