SALEM, VA – In a season filled with grit and determination, four Fayetteville State student-athletes have etched their names into the archives of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) by earning 2024 All-CIAA Post-Season Honors.
Leading the charge are Michael Todd, Jr., an offensive lineman from Lumberton, NC, and Kameron King, a tight end from Lawrenceville, GA. Both R-Seniors, their relentless drive, and exceptional skills have earned them spots on the All-CIAA First Team. Todd's formidable presence on the offensive line and King's versatility and clutch performances have been pivotal in their team's success.
On the defensive side, Kolby Merritt, a defensive back from Charlotte, NC, has stood out for Fayetteville State. His keen instincts and tenacity have secured him a place on the All-CIAA Second Team. Merritt's ability to read the game and make crucial plays has made him a standout player throughout the season.
Adding to the accolades, Benjamin Hicks, an R-Freshman offensive lineman from Mooresville, NC, has made an impressive debut, earning a spot on the CIAA All-Rookie Team. Hicks' remarkable performance in his first season hints at a promising future ahead.
