Benjamin Hicks is a powerful and agile center for the Broncos, anchoring the offensive line with his 6’4”, 330-pound frame. A native of Mooresville, North Carolina, Hicks graduated from Southern Durham High School in 2023, where he excelled in multiple sports including wrestling and golf. He earned All-Conference honors in both sports and was awarded the Trenches Award for his performance during football season.
At Fayetteville State University, Hicks is majoring in Business and has already made a name for himself on the field. He was named the All-CIAA Offensive Rookie and earned a spot on the Preseason First Team All-CIAA, highlighting his impact and potential as a key contributor to the Broncos' offense.
Off the field, Benjamin enjoys gaming on his PC and has a hidden talent — he can do a cartwheel. He credits his father, Maurice, as the most influential person in his life for consistently demonstrating strength and perseverance. His most memorable sports moment was qualifying for states in wrestling, a testament to his dedication and athletic versatility.
Benjamin chose FSU because of the genuine love and support he felt from the campus community, and he looks forward to building a future that includes running his own trucking business.
