Salisbury, NC --The Fayetteville State golf team finished 9th in the Richard & Patsy Rendleman Invitational with a total score of +38(890: 308, 290, 292).
Donald Barnett led the team with a total score of 215, finishing in 9th place individually. The top three teams were Catawba, finishing first with a score of -2(850: 275, 284, 291), Emory & Henry in second place with -1(851: 275, 277, 299), and Erskine in third with +7 (859: 283, 285, 291).
Donald Barnett, a sophomore sports management major from Antioch, IL, Â led the team with a solid showing, finishing in 9th place overall. He posted consistent rounds of 73, 71, and 71, totaling 215. His steady play was a highlight for the team, demonstrating resilience and skill across all three rounds.
Juan Lopez also had a notable performance, finishing tied for 25th place. After a challenging first round of 80, he bounced back with rounds of 72 and 71, ending with a total score of 223.
Allan Terrazas finished tied for 27th place, with scores of 77, 69, and 78, totaling 224.
Patricio Ramirez, playing as an individual, ended up tied for 36th place. He scored 80, 71, and 77, for a total of 228.
Shaun Wixson finished with rounds of 78, 78, and 77, totaling 233. Dreier scored 85, 79, and 73, for a total of 237.
The team will travel to Hickory, NC on October 21-22
nd to compete in the Lenoir-Rhyne Fall Invitational.
