Caden Hodges and
Brandon Jones were named to the 2023 NCAA Division II PING All-Region Team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Players across eight regions earned all-region honors in 2023.
Hodges, a freshman and native of Dunn, NC, has been the lead golfer for the Broncos during his freshman campaign. The FSU Gatorade Co-male Athlete of the Year swept the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Championship's Low Medalist Award, the CIAA Golfer of the Year Award, and the CIAA Rookie of the Year Award. The All-CIAA golfer has played in 33 rounds leading into the DII National Championship and has a current average of 72.82 (+1 Par).
Jones, a senior from Sanford, NC, has also played in 33 rounds this season. He has a 75.58 average (+4) and has placed in the top ten at five meets. He placed fifth at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional Preview.
Fayetteville State University won the 2023 CIAA Championship and finished second at the Atlantic/East Super Regional Championship. FSU will be competing in the NCAA DII National Championship from May 22

th in Warren, Ohio.
