Kiawah Island, SC – The Fayetteville State golf team finished 17
th overall at the Kiawah Island Invitational hosted by the University of South Carolina Aiken. The Broncos finished with a two-day total of 609 (308-301).
Logan Sessoms led the effort with a 148 (74-74) followed by
Zach Martin (75-74), who was one stroke behind.
Sessoms finished the field of 90 players ranked in an eight-way tie at 41, with his four-over par performance. Martin's five-over had him in a seven-way tie at the 49
th position.
Hunter Oxendine was +11 (79-76, 155) after the two rounds for a 76
th.
Sean Burke shot a 157 (80-77) and Johnathan Rose had FSU's final scoring spot with a 179 (93-86).
Fayetteville State will compete in the Lenoir-Rhyne Donald Ross Intercollegiate Tournament from October 14
th through the 15
th at the Mimosa Hills Country Club in Morganton, NC.
