Petersburg, VA – The Fayetteville State golf team brought home the win, placing 1st overall at the VSU Trojan Fall Classic hosted by Virginia State University. The Broncos finished with a two-day total of 589 (297-282). Brandon Jones led the effort with a 144 (73-71). Jones ranked second out of 40 players, with his even par performance.

Hunter Oxendine was +6 (73-77, 150) after the two rounds for 8th. There was a three-way tie for ninth place with Logan Sessoms +7 (81-70, 151), Sean Burke +7 (76-75, 151), and Zack Martin +7 (75-76, 151).

Justin Gadson shot a 158 (77-81) and Johnathan Rose had FSU's final scoring spot with a 174 (85-89).
