Final Stats

CHARLOTTE, NC - Pfeiffer picked up a couple of wins in softball over Fayetteville State on Tuesday, winning both ends of the doubleheader by scores of 9-1 and 7-0.

Maya Washington (Red Springs, NC) was 1-for-2 with an RBI to lead the Lady Broncos (6-6) at the plate in the first game while April Branch (Sr., Watha, NC) and Misty Huber (Jr., Orlando, FL) had two hits apiece.

Pfeiffer (9-9) got going with seven runs in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back.

Branch had the lone Lady Broncos hit in the second game, which Pfeiffer broke open with three runs in the fourth and three more in the sixth.

Fayetteville State plays at Mount Olive on Friday.
