Game #2 - St. Andrews 5, Fayetteville State 3
Fayetteville State struck first in game two. Alicia Frank hit a RBI single; an error by the outfielder allowed junior Dominique Mills to advance and come home for the score in the bottom of the first. No other runs were tallied for either team until the top of the fourth.

As the rain began to fall, it looked as if the weather would be the determining factor in the contest (possible cancellation). Both teams played through it, and the Lady Broncos would take the lead in the sixth. Aja Sawyer drilled a two RBI double to right center and put FSU in front 3-2 before the conclusion of the inning.
St. Andrews responded in the seventh with a three RBI homer by Morgan Farroll. The homerun put the Knights ahead and ultimately decided the game. No additional runs were scored and St. Andrews took home the 5-3 victory.
Fayetteville State falls to 14-14 overall with the non-conference loss. The Lady Broncos will return to action on Sunday, April 13th, when they take on the Lady Panthers of Virginia Union University.
