Bowie State University improved their season record to 6-0 after rocking Fayetteville State University's Lady Broncos 12-0 in game one and 23-1 in game two. Bowie State's pitchers combined pitching duties and limited FSU to only four hits in the two games. The only Lady Broncos to get any hits in game one were Shatia Gidrey and centerfielder Dominique Mills; both hits coming in the third inning, ending Bulldog pitcher, Tiffany Toney's bid for a no hitter.
The second game was no better for the Lady Broncos. BSU's Heather Enders held the Lady Broncos hitless for four innings. The two hits mustered by Ariel McNair and Gloria Williams would be all FSU could do. Julian Willey relieved her teammate in the fourth and would only allow one FSU batter to reach base, and that was on a base-on-balls.
FSU is now 0-12 for the season and 0-2 CIAA.
