The Lady Pioneers of Glenville State College got strong pitching from Tiffany Bush and Karly Eskew, and timely hitting from its batters as they beat Fayetteville State 13-0 on a no-hitter. Between the two pitchers, only two Lady Broncos were able to reach first base, Yvonne Alvarez on an error in the second inning and a base-on-balls by Aja Sawyer in the fourth inning.

In the second game of the evening, the Lady Broncos held Glenville to a 4-1 lead for six innings. But the bottom fell out in the top of the seventh inning. The Lady Broncos' pitcher Shatia Gidrey gave up four hits and walked three batters which sent five runs across home plate in the 9-1 loss.

The double-header loss dropped FSU to 0-8 for the season and Glenville State improved to 2-8.
