Fayetteville State University Athletics

Glodalys Colon Negron is a dynamic outside hitter for the Fayetteville State Broncos, bringing energy, determination, and international flair to the court. Originally from Aibonito, Puerto Rico, Glodalys graduated from Dr. Jose N. Gandara High School in 2023, where she was named MVP for three consecutive years thanks to her consistent performance and leadership.

Now a sophomore at Fayetteville State University, she is majoring in Health Care Administration and continues to grow as a key contributor to the volleyball program. Off the court, Glodalys enjoys watching movies and spending time with family. She credits her mother, Glorimar Negron Fernandez, as the most influential person in her life for teaching her to persevere and overcome life’s challenges.

She chose FSU because of the welcoming, family-oriented environment and the opportunity to pursue both academic and athletic goals in a supportive community. Her journey to the United States to chase her volleyball dreams remains one of her most memorable experiences.
