Bruntavious "Bam" Clark is a redshirt freshman offensive lineman from Atlanta, Georgia, who brings size, strength, and determination to the Fayetteville State football program. A product of Hapeville Charter Career Academy, Clark earned First Team All-Region honors during his high school career and helped lead his team to a memorable regional championship victory.
Clark chose Fayetteville State because of the family atmosphere he experienced during his visit and the strong traditions that define the university. As a Business Administration major, he is committed to excelling both on the field and in the classroom while preparing for a successful future. His long-term goal is to take football as far as possible while using his education to create opportunities for himself and provide for his family. Determined to set an example, Clark hopes to become the first member of his family to complete college.
Known for his strong family values, Clark credits his mother, Brittany Clark, as his greatest influence. He admires her perseverance and determination through life's challenges and says she taught him the importance of never giving up. Before every game, he relies on music and a phone call with his father for motivation and focus.
Away from football, Clark gives back to his community through Kemp Keepers, a self-funded organization he created with his mother. Through the initiative, he helps feed individuals experiencing homelessness and provides clothing to those in need. He takes pride in using his platform to make a positive impact on others.
Clark considers being away from his family one of the biggest challenges of his athletic journey, but he believes Fayetteville State has helped him grow through the support of his professors, teammates, coaches, and the campus community. His advice to younger athletes is simple: "Keep going. Don't give up. Even when it's hard, see it through."
