Biography

Something Unique Most People Wouldn't Know About You? Most people wouldn't know that I can juggle.
Career Goals/Plans After Finishing School? I plan to work in the medical field but have not decided a career choice.
Your Greatest Inspiration and Why? My greatest inspiration is my dad. My dad has done all he can to give my sister and I every opportunity to succeed. He's worked hard his entire life whether it was in academics, sports, work, etc. My mom passed in 2020 from cancer. While she was sick, he took care of her mental and medical needs at home, transported her to doctor appointments, emergency room visits and stayed overnight with her for days at a time in the hospital. It was very tolling on his physical and mental health. At the same time, he worked a full-time job, and took care of my twin and I who were 16 at the time. He did his very best to shelter us from what our mother was going through so that we didn't feel the stress that he did. He managed all of this during the midst of Covid. He's been my biggest supporter and biggest critic my entire life. But I am so grateful for him. He has taught me to never settle for less if I have the control to be better. He lets me know he is proud of me but never allows it to go to my head. Of all the accomplishments I could have in life, the greatest would be being selfless enough to give my kids the life he has given us.
What has been your best experience at FSU? My best experience at FSU has been meeting new friends and people every day.
Why did you choose your major? I chose this major because I enjoy math and science. Chemistry was also one of my favorite classes in high school. I wanted to major in a subject that I had faith I could find a career to fit my interests in.
