Fayetteville, N.C. (March 5, 2025) – Fayetteville State University's women's basketball team has made a significant leap in the latest NCAA Atlantic Region Rankings, moving up to sixth place from tenth. This improvement follows their triumphant performance in the CIAA Women's Basketball Tournament, where they emerged as champions. The updated rankings, released through games played on March 2, 2025, reflect the Broncos' impressive season record of 21-7.
Fayetteville State's rise in the rankings is a testament to the team's hard work, dedication, and exceptional performance throughout the season, earning them a well-deserved spot among the top contenders in the region.
