Mechanicsville, Virginia – March 22, 2025 – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) held its regular season awards presentation prior to the start of its two-day bowling championship in Mechanicsville, Virginia. The Southern Division Champions, who swept the division with a perfect 35-0 record, also won this year's Bowling All-Academic Award with a team GPA of 3.623.
 
Fayetteville State's Janari Aiken, Nicole Sarko, Paige Rockwell, and Ericka Reed were named to the All-CIAA Team, among the 11 individuals honored.

Ericka Reed, a junior from Dayton, Ohio, and three-time all-conference performer, was named the CIAA Bowler of the Year with the highest average of all bowlers at 190.67. Nicole Sarko, a freshman from Palm Beach, Fla., was named Rookie of the Year with an average of 179.09.

Paige Rockwell, also from Dayton, Ohio, earned her third All-CIAA honor with an average of 188.30. Rockwell was the 2024 CIAA Bowler of the Year and Tournament MVP. Janari Aiken, a freshman from Middletown, New York, finished the season with an average of 165.67.
 
These talented bowlers have demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication throughout the season, earning their place among the best in the conference. Fayetteville State University is proud of their achievements and looks forward to their continued success as they strive for a third consecutive championship.
