WINSTON-SALEM, NC --Amihan Johnson notched 11 kills with a .526 attack percentage to help lead the Fayetteville State volleyball team to a five-set victory (25-16, 25-17, 23-25, 15-25, 15-8) over the Lincoln (PA) Lions Saturday at Whitaker Gymnasium.
The conference win improved Fayetteville State's record to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in CIAA action.
The Broncos were led by a double-double from Jourdan Page, who registered 13 kills and 12 digs on the day. Johnson also added 11 kills to help the offense. On the defensive end, Jasmine Culp chipped in for with 16 digs to go with three blocks from Johnson.

The Broncos dominated the first two sets, winning 25-16 and 25-17, thanks to strong serves and a solid attack, including four aces in the first set and a .355 attack percentage in the second. However, Lincoln (PA) fought back, narrowly taking the third set 25-23 and convincingly winning the fourth set 25-15, tying the match. In the decisive fifth set, Fayetteville State regained control, leading from 3-2 and extending their lead to seven points before clinching the set 15-8 with a .632 attack percentage and only one error. This victory highlighted the Broncos' resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
