FAYETTEVILLE, NC --The Fayetteville State volleyball team earned a three-set win (25-12, 25-14, 25-11) against the Claflin Panthers Thursday at home at Felton J Capel Arena.
The victory moved the Broncos' record to 10-2 overall and 6-2 in CIAA play. The Panthers fall to 1-9 overall and 1-6 in the conference.

In a dominant performance, Fayetteville State showcased their prowess on the court, never trailing in both the first and third sets, winning them 25-12 and 25-11 respectively. Chiara Vittoni was a standout, delivering a match-high seven aces and providing crucial support with 21 assists. Jourdan Page led the attack with 14 kills, while Jasmine Culp anchored the defense with 11 digs. The team's strong serving game was evident as they racked up five aces in the first set alone, setting the tone for their comprehensive victory.
Claflin had notable performances from several players. Mya Sumter and Anaya Wofford each contributed four kills, while Siri Davis led the team with five assists and two service aces.

Their offense was further enhanced by four aces in this final set, sealing their comprehensive victory.
