GREENWOOD, SC --The Fayetteville State volleyball team could not beat a potent Crusaders offense Saturday falling to North Greenville in straight sets (17-25, 19-25, 19-25).

The non-conference loss moved Fayetteville State to 3-8 on the season.

Casandra Watson finished with nine kills on the day to lead the Broncos attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .318. Defensively, Fayetteville State had three players reach double figures in digs, including Jordan Johnson's 13, 11 from Watson, and 10 more from Nikole Akamine.
