FSU’s Ashley Taylor Awarded CIAA Post Graduate Scholarship

Charlotte, NC – Fayetteville State University's Track & Field student-athlete Ashley Taylor was awarded a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Post Graduate Scholarship for the upcoming academic year.
 
Ashley Taylor is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, and received her bachelor's degree from Winston-Salem State University. She is enrolled at FSU as a Master of Business Administration graduate student and has future aspirations of becoming the Commissioner of the CIAA. The track & field thrower won the 2023 CIAA Indoor and Outdoor Shotput Championships as a Bronco.
 
The CIAA Post Graduate Scholarship was established to increase opportunities for ethnic minority and women candidates who attend a CIAA member institution to pursue a postgraduate degree in athletics and sports administration. This year's winners were selected through an application process vetted by the CIAA Post Graduate Scholarship Committee. Winners were selected based on GPA, resume, and personal essay.
