FAYETTEVILLE, NC - Fayetteville State football player, Shawn Robinson, was awarded the Food Lion Weekly Honors by CIAA football coaches and media relations. 

Shawn Robinson is a redshirt sophomore computer science major from Charlotte, NC. He was selected as defensive lineman of the week for his vital contributions during the 40-34 OT victory against Winston-Salem State on November 4th. Robinson had 4 tackles (3 solo/1 assisted), 2.5 tackles for a loss of 15 yards, and 2 sacks for a loss of 14 yards. The highlight was his forced fumble and fumble recovery during OT allowing the Broncos offense to score the winning touchdown.

The win gave the Broncos an undefeated conference record of 8-0 for the season.
