Pittsburg, KS (March 12, 2022) -- Fayetteville State's triple jumper
Jade Jordan closed out the Broncos' 2022 indoor track & field season with a 13
th place finish with a jump of 12.06 meters (39-6 ¾) at the NCAA DII National Championships in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Jordan was positioned to make it to the finals after her first jump of 11.76m (38-7) landed her in 8
th place in Pittsburg State University's Carnie Smith Stadium. She dropped to 13
th after a shorter jump of 11.62m (38-1 ½) and remained in the same position after her final jump.
Only the top nine jumpers qualify for the finals and the top eight finishers earn All-American honors.
Jordan will return to campus and join the Broncos in the outdoor season-opener at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, SC from March 18-19.
