Charlotte, NC – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announced three Fayetteville State Broncos for Week #6 Food Lion Player of the Week honors on Monday. Sophomore Michael Todd was named the Offensive Lineman of the Week along with Barry Elliot, Receiver of the Week, and quarterback Damari Daniels, who was named the Rookie of the Week.

Michael Todd (a sophomore from Lumberton, NC) anchored Fayetteville State's offensive line en route to season-high totals of 54 points and 543 yards of total offense in the win over Saint Augustine's. The Broncos' 314 yards rushing were the most in a single game since October 5, 2019. FSU rushed for three touchdowns and averaged 7.1 yards per carry. Eight different Broncos had a rushing attempt and seven logged new season-high totals in rushing yards. The Broncos generated 20 first downs, averaged 9.5 yards per play, went 5-of-11 on third downs, and a perfect two-for-two on fourth downs.

Barry Elliot (Fayetteville, NC) was named the CIAA Food Lion's Receiver of the Week with a game performance of three receptions for 141 yards and three touchdowns. His receiving yards are the third-most in a single game within the CIAA this season. The graduate student is the only player in the conference with three receiving scores in a single game. Elliott was named the Protect Your Skull FSU Homecoming Most Outstanding Player of the Game after touchdowns of 21 yards, 37 yards, and 83 yards. This Food Lion honor is his second of the season.
