COMPLETE RESULTS
Winston-Salem, NC (January 15, 2022) -- The reigning 2020 CIAA Women's Indoor Champions Fayetteville State University opened the 2021-22 season at the Mondo College Invitational in Winston-Salem, NC at the JDL Fast Track facility.
The Broncos 4x400 squad of
Mya Johnson,
Bianca Belfon,
Shania Ingram, and
Shanae Ingram was the highlight of today's performances with a second-place finish with a time of 4:12.09.
Shanae Ingram and
Mya Johnson were fourth and fifth in the 600 meters with respective times of 1:40.26 and 1:42.27. Ingram won her section of five runners while Johnson ran in the fastest heat with Barbadian Olympian Tia-Adana Belle, winning the event. Johnson was fourth in her section.
Shania Ingram finished sixth in the 400 meters seeded finals with a time of 1:01.21.
Mylasia Pratt was in the top ten of the 800-meter finals. She was tenth out of 28 runners with a time of 2:40.10.
Fayetteville State will compete in the Brant Tolsma Invitational in Lynchburg, Virginia at Liberty University next weekend.
