Salisbury, NC – Shantel Bennett had a career-high 25-point performance in Fayetteville State's 76-56 victory over Livingstone in the New Trent Gymnasium in Salisbury, NC. The Broncos utilized a 15-7 second quarter going into halftime with a 35-18 lead. FSU led by as many as 29 (73-44) with less than two minutes left in the game.
 
Monday night during the Claflin game, Shantel Bennett (Sanford, NC) sunk a three-pointer with her last field goal with 5:40 left in the game to surpass the 1,000-point plateau by two points. Tonight, she reached another milestone with a career-high 25 points from 3-of-4 three-pointers within 11-of-17 field goals.
 
Three other Broncos joined Bennett with double-digit scoring. Aminata Johnson (Durham, NC) scored 13 points with Katisha Hyman (Chocowinity, NC) adding 11. London Thompson (Lumberton, NC) tipped in ten.
 
Fayetteville State scored 20 points and 16 fast break points off 19 Blue Bear turnovers.
 
 Daisa Harris led Livingstone with 24 points and Victoria Onozie added a double-double of 12 points and 16 rebounds.
