Glenville, WV – Fayetteville State is off to a good start with a 78-63 season-opener victory over Clarion after a 21-point performance from senior Raymon Pratt.
 
Pratt missed a double-double night by one rebound with nine grabs. Jalen Seegars chipped in 15 points along with Denzell Hosch, who knocked down 14, and Jalen Spicer, who hit 13, for the win.
 
Fayetteville State led 39-24 at the half and by as much as 17 (65-48) with 5:52 left in the game.
 
The Broncos scored 24 points off 17 turnovers and 23 from second chance points and won the battle on the boards out-rebounding the Eagles 42-28. The FSU bench contributed 53 points.
 
Kaison Branch scored 21 points for Clarion while Stevan Rodriguez added 17 and Aaron Hilzendger 14.
