Pembroke, NC – Coker swept Fayetteville State 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-16) in the first match of the UNC Pembroke Volleyball Invitational in Pembroke, NC.
 
Bojo Jada (Jamestown, NC) and Charli Daniels (Fayetteville, NC) led the Broncos effort with six kills each powered by Nakia Mckinnie (Niceville, FL)'s 14 assists. Alexis Hollis (Apex, NC) accounted for 12 digs (saves) to assist in the effort.
 
Fayetteville State finished with a match total of a .052 hitting percentage (23 kills; 19 errors; 77 attacks) to the Cobras .214 (39 kills; 18 errors; 98 attacks).
 
Coker helped secure the match with ten service aces.
 
Fayetteville State will face Lees-McRae later today in its second of four matches in the tournament.
