Fayetteville, NC - The Fayetteville State University Athletic Department is introducing the "Bronco Round Up". An eventful day of activities and fellowship centered around the 2008 Blue and White Football Scrimmage.

An officials' clinic will begin Friday, April 4th and Saturday, April 5th in conjunction with the Bronco Round Up. Officials from the NFL and NCAA will participate in this two-day training clinic to prepare for the upcoming football season.

The Round Up will kick off with a Meet and Greet session at 11 am inside the Capel Arena, room 222. As part of the session, the department will acknowledge the 5th Anniversary of the 2002 CIAA Football Championship (first in school history), welcome new football signees and their families, and host a reunion for football alum. At 12 noon, the athletic department will host a Spring Tailgate for FSU students, family, friends, and FSU Alumni. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to take part in face paintings and a photo/autograph session; while enjoying music, food, fun and games in a safe, family atmosphere. Fayetteville State's Pep Band and the Cheer Phi Smoov Cheerleaders will be on hand for entertainment.

There will be T-shirt tossed into the crowd and in-game promotions such as: the End-zone Touchdown Dance contest and Punt, Pass, and Kick competition. A brief ceremony will be held in recognition of the 2002 CIAA Championship team during the FSU Blue and White Scrimmage.
